Youth Advisory Panel (YAP)

The team behind this website is Anaphylaxis Canada’s Youth Advisory Panel (YAP). It consists of 16 food allergic participants from across Canada ranging from 14-24 years of age. The objective of the group is to use the members' experiences and knowledge to provide effective resources for at risk teens and young adults, as well as the non-allergic community.  The YAP members are also the creative minds behind the Allergy Free Press E-Magazine and the Why Risk it Teen Allergy Podcast.

Our first YAP conference was held in November 2008 in Toronto for a whole weekend. It was a great chance for the team to meet, work and, of course, have a lot of fun! Be a part of the conference next year by applying to be on the YAP team!
